Sharing Intel on PCS Hub — The Rules

This is a place for military families to help each other with real, on-the-ground knowledge: where to eat, what neighborhoods feel like, what you wish you'd known before you got here. Every submission is reviewed before it goes live. Here's what works and what doesn't.

Yes — this is what we want:

  • Your honest take on local spots: restaurants, parks, things to do, places to take the kids.
  • Practical tips for someone PCSing in: traffic, what to expect, lessons learned.
  • First-hand experience. You've been there. That's the whole point.

No — this won't get posted:

  • Anything that steers people toward or away from areas based on who lives there. Comments about the "type of people," race, religion, family status, national origin, or similar — in any area — will not be posted. This isn't negotiable; it's the law, and Scott Middleton holds a real estate license. Talk about places, not people.
  • Naming specific neighborhoods as "bad," "rough," or ones to "avoid." Share what you liked; warnings that single out communities won't be published.
  • Personal attacks, arguments, or anything aimed at another contributor.
  • Spam, self-promotion, business ads, or links to sell something.
  • Anything false, misleading, or that you can't back up from your own experience.
  • Photos you didn't take or don't have the rights to use.

How it works:

  • Every submission is read and approved before it appears. Submissions may be edited for length or clarity, or declined, without explanation.
  • Approved comments show your first name and last initial only. No login, no account required.
  • Comments reflect the views of the people who wrote them, not PCS Hub or Scott Middleton. Verify anything that affects a real decision.

Keep it useful, keep it honest, keep it about helping the next family. That's it.
